Data Deletion & Account Purge
How to permanently purge all data associated with PortDroid.
Because PortDroid operates on a 100% Local-First paradigm and maintains zero centralized account servers, there is no remote account or database maintained by Mogrovas Dev storing your personal information. Consequently, you retain immediate, autonomous control over the complete destruction of your data at any time.
1. Deleting Local Data on Your Android Device
To irrevocably remove all server configurations, SSH keys, histories, and cached tokens from your phone:
- Option A: Uninstall the PortDroid application from your device.
- Option B: Go to Android Settings > Apps > PortDroid > Storage > Tap 'Clear Data' and 'Clear Cache'.
2. Deleting Cloud Backups from Google Drive
If you used Cloud Sync, your encrypted archive resides inside the hidden application data folder of your personal Google Drive account. To permanently delete it:
1. Open Google Drive in your desktop browser (drive.google.com).
2. Click the gear icon (Settings) in the top right corner > Select 'Settings'.
3. Click 'Manage Apps' in the left sidebar.
4. Scroll down to find 'PortDroid' > Click the 'Options' button on the right > Select 'Delete hidden app data'.
3. Revoking Third-Party API Keys
If you configured a Google Gemini API key, clearing application data deletes it locally. To permanently revoke the key at the provider level, visit Google AI Studio (aistudio.google.com) and delete the key from your account.
